Programme and Conductor Change: “Rhapsody in Spring” Lawrence Foster, Simon Zhu and NCPAO

“Rhapsody in Spring” Lawrence Foster, Simon Zhu and NCPAO, scheduled for 19:30 p.m. on February 6th–7th, 2026 in the NCPA Concert Hall, will see a change in conductor. Maestro Lawrence Foster is unable to perform due to illness. The concert will now be led by LÜ Jia, the NCPA`s Music Artistic Director and renowned conductor.

The programme has been updated as follows:
Rossini: Overture to Il barbiere di Siviglia
Paganini: Violin Concerto No. 2 in B Minor “La campanella”, Op. 7
Mendelssohn: Symphony No. 4 in A Major “Italian”, Op. 90
