The 66th Maria Canals International Music Competition has been postponed until July due to COVID-19

The Maria Canals International Music Competition has considered appropriate to follow the recommendations of the Health Authorities, given the circumstances of the health alarm and because of social responsibility, to postpone its 66th edition to July 2020, specifically between 20th to 31st of July. Actually, the first edition of the competition, in 1954, was already celebrated in July.

Eliminatory rounds and final round tickets will be valid for the new dates. However, those who have already purchased tickets and wish to have their money refund can do it through the Palau`s Box Office or by email at taquilles@palaumusica.cat.

On the other hand, the activities of the OFF Competiton during these dates and until April 14 have been canceled or postponed.

The Maria Canals Competition will contact all those who are affected by the changes and will continue to duly inform of any changes in their protocols of action, always following the directions of the Health Authorities.

New schedule of the 66th Maria Canals Competition:
20th of July: General Meeting
21st to 23th of July: First Round
24th to 26th of July: Second Round
27th of July: Semifinal
30th of July: Final
31st of July: Ceremony Awards
