Vocal-Symphonic concert “Joy of Resurrection" - The Sunday of Holy Prude Women[ Author Floarea Trasca ] I can confirm without a doubt that in the evening of 19 May 2013 I saw a Royal performance. With the occasion of Resurrection and the Sunday of Holy Prude Women, the St Nicolae Church “From a day" organized a vocal-symphonic concert of great artistic value.
The Aula Magna of the Patriarchate Palace was overcrowded; this kind of event deserved a more generous space that could’ve allowed a larger public to enjoy two hours of excellent interpretations. The Metropolitan Bucharest Orchestra and the Acoustics. Choir were conducted by Mr. Daniel Jinga.
The program started and ended with the “Patriarchal Anthem". Afterwards followed"With the body sleeping…; Jesus Resurrected! " by Paul Constantinescu after soprano Maria Jinga interpreted “Our Father…“ by Anton Pann.
After the actor George Ivascu recited with talent and passion “Word of learning (Gospel) among the Saints, our Father Ioan Golden Mouth, in the lighted day of Resurrection", Vlad Mirita, tenor, singed “I’ll love You, Lord…" His wonderful voice, an outstanding outfit and the text aroused the appreciation of the public.
The Sunday of Holy Prude Women was celebrated with the two poetrys “When u say woman…"by Traian Dorz recited by the beloved actrice Maria Ploae and “Mother" by Lucio Dalla interpreted by Vlad Mirita.
“Carol" by Vasile Voiculescu was also recited by the warm and tender voice of the actrice Maria Ploae.
The program had a gifted performer, Father Vasile from the Church St. Nicolae “From a day". He announced that for this evening spectacle, many special persons responded, they are role models of artistic life but also in the family life. After the recite of “Carol" a pleasant surprise followed: the presence of Mrs. Felicia Filip, the soprano with a renowned name, of which we are proud, the only one who won all the Mozart awards. Felicia Filip interpreted a fragment from the opera “Herodiade" by Jules Massnet.
Next was “Glory" by W. A. Mozart interpreted by the Accoustic choir and the Metropolitan Bucharest Orchestra, followed by “Ave Maria" by Wiliam Gomez interpreted by the young and talented soprano Maria Jinga.
Felicia Fillip was glowing when she returned to the stage with a fragment from the opera “Don Quijote de la Mancha" interpreted in Romanian. The whole audience received advices to live a clean life, full of sharing, good deeds, courage and trust in God. After this Felicia Filip in duet with Vlad Mirita singed “Jesus has resurrected! " the Aula Magna acclaimed filled by the emotion of beauty and sensibility.
Another pleasant surprise was a lady of the Romanian theater, Lamia Beligan, reciting the poetry “Fire" by Zorica Latcu, confessing that in a way this is her creed and then she told "Words about Resurrection of Pr.Teofil Paraian". The artist voice alternated between enveloping, whispering, or strong like the unleashed wind, it generated a lot of applause. The emotion reached the maximum level when the artist Lamia Beligan recited the poetry “Jesus has resurrected" by Vasile Militaru followed in a happy way “Jesus has resurrected! " singed by the soloists, orchestra members and the public. The eyes and faces of everyone glowed of happiness.
To crown the success of this program, very well prepared, in which all were harmonious combined, his Gracious Daniel, the Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, held a Word of learning showing that our church respected the woman just like Jesus did, he outlined that the real way of life is that of faith in which everyone finds hope and peace in our hardest moments and mentioned that all the artists present this evening are role models in their field as well as in their family and social life. His Gracious thanked everybody: those present, the organizing church, St Nicolae Church “From a day" which has as titular saint The Sunday of Holy Prude Women (the third Sunday after Easter), the orchestra, the conductor, every soloist and actor, mentioning everyone name. The lecture of his Worship was clear, straight and touching through its message. Personally, I appreciated the fact that although he was next to the mayor of Sector 1 (the organizing church is in this sector), and maybe other politicians were present, no politics was involved in this night.
Together with the audience I shared moments of maximum emotion which made me for many times to have tears of joy in my eyes.It was a wonderful evening, of real (intense) living, catharsis, a freedom obtained through art to escape all the grey in the ordinary life which overwhelms us so many times and makes us forget how many wonderful things we can experience. For all of these, we thank the artists and the organizers, as well as the Romanian Orthodox Church and its leaders and we hope that such events enlighten us once more. |
